1. Kenneth Toon Boon Long
Kenneth Toon was a pioneer staff in Sakti Suria Group in 1988 until he left to start Kenann Engineering in 2012. Whilst in Sakti Suria, he was involved in marketing and scouting for new business opportunities. He played a key role in the infant years of Sakti Suria in expanding its market reach into the palm oil mill and refinery business.
He ventured into the water industry in the year 2000 to market penstocks and river gates under SS Marketing (M) Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary in the Sakti Suria Group.
In February 2012, he started Kenann Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. With his vast experience in the industry, he has been able to manage and grow Kenann Engineering within a few years. As a result of the experience he has gained, he is hands-on not only in the design but also in the operations, maintenance and trouble-shooting of penstock systems.
2. Foong Kok Chooi
Foong Kok Chooi is a qualified Engineer with a B. Eng. (Hons) from University of Malaya. He is responsible for the technical design of river gates produced by Kenann Engineering.
He has over 40 years of experience mainly in the water industry. Upon graduation, he was serving as a Mechanical Engineer in Jabatan Parit and Taliair in several states, mainly in Kelantan, Selangor and Kedah.
From 1974-1980, he was working for Malayawata Steel Berhad before joining Kumpulan Teknik Sdn. Bhd. as Project Manager for 4 years. He was Executive Director of Binapec Sdn. Bhd from 1983-1989 and Bina Technique Sdn. Bhd. from 1990-1997.
He was involved in many water treatment schemes and pumping systems projects while he was Project Manager with Cimetra Sdn. Bhd from 1997 to 2005. Since then, he has managed several oxidation ponds and aerated lagoons projects as well as provided engineering services in the design, fabrication and installation of smart tunnel gate and stoplog.
3. Lim Loo Ann
Loo Ann holds a B. Sc. (Computer Science & Accountancy) from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. She graduated in 1990.
Upon graduation, she worked in the computer industry in a consulting firm with large Malaysian and multinational companies as clients. She was also trained in SAP system when this enterprise system was first introduced in Malaysia.
In 1995, she made a career change to lecture in Taylors College. She has taught in the A-levels and the South Australian Matriculation programs.
In the year 2002, she went back to the IT industry on a contractual basis. For the next few years, she focused on the areas of business process analysis, business continuity planning and quality management.
In 2012, she became a Director and shareholder of Kenann Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. She now manages the Finance and Administration of the company.
